Wash In Proper Way
- Prepare cool water (≤ 35°C).
- Add moderate amount of silk detergent.
- Gently press and swirl, avoid twisting.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Squeeze gently, hang inside out in shade.
Iron In Proper Way
- Turn inside out to protect surface.
- Use lowest heat (max 110°C / 230°F).
- Place a pressing cloth as barrier.
- Iron when slightly damp, never dry iron.
- Avoid direct steam, press gently.
Stop Doing These
- Mixing silk with other fabrics.
- Exposing silk to high heat.
- Using strong alkaline detergents.
- Wearing silk right after shower.
- Hanging silk on sharp hooks/hangers.
- Spraying perfume directly on silk.
